Aka "Fear Factor Sushi."  Known for their VERY fresh sushi.  The kine SO fresh, that little creatures are still-crawling-in-front-of-you-fresh (LoL)!  ...& so I heard from my Japanese local nat'l co-worker :]  Hubby & I have yet to try it before we leave Misawa.  Will definitely share pictures when we do!

Shirokujichu

Restaurant located in AEON Mall Shimoda (aka "Shimoda Mall"). There's 2 food courts (1st & 2nd F).  The restaurants on the 1st floor is near Sports Authority.  There you'll find Chinese, Italian buffet (Papageno), Mos Burger, & various Japanese restaurants for sitting & dining in.  Gotta love the food displays at their windows!  Besides not being able to read the menu, the displays help you decide what & where to eat ^_^  On the 2nd floor there's Pepper Lunch, ramen, McDonald's...

I liked Shirokujichu.  Their creamy pasta was delicious! Some are given on a hot plate.  I ordered what reminded me of "Loco Moco" back in HI.  But this one just had sweet gravy, eggs, & rice.  My set was filling ^_^

Aloha Hawai'i Nei, peace out Cali, & konnichiwa Japan!  Arrived in Misawa Passenger Terminal during a snow blizzard o_O What a way to feel welcomed! ...& so our 3 yrs begin!  Hubby & I lives in Misawa, bt best believe we love LoVe LOVE to venture out & explore :D  Feel free to use this blog as a guide to navigate to the cool spots of Japan (in/near Misawa, Aomori Prefecture, Tohoku Region, etc...well, u get the point)!
